WHAT IS A MEAL PLAN?

Meal Plans are the ultimate convenience for couples (2 people) and families (4 people). You will automatically receive a selection of meals based on your food preferences (ie Exclude pork, shellfish, lamb etc).

On Tuesdays you will receive a confirmation email outlining which meals you will be receiving, once your successful transaction has been processed. With a meal plan, you just set and forget and we will automatically deliver your meals once a week, until you advise us otherwise.

WHEN WILL MY DELIVERY ARRIVE?

Adelaide deliveries occur Monday* (7am-6pm)

Sydney (Newcastle, Central Coast) 8am-6pm

Melbourne 8am-6pm (Geelong 12am-7am, Vic Central Highlands 8am-6pm)

Brisbane 8am-5pm, Canberra 6am-6pm, Gold Coast 8am-5pm, deliveries occur Monday* (you will receive SMS confirmation once delivery has occurred)


Sunshine Coast 9am-5pm, Goulburn 12am-7am, NSW Southern Highlands 12am-7am, Woollongong 12am-7am, Newcastle (regional) 12am-7am, Sydney (regional) 12am-7am deliveries Tuesday* (you will receive SMS confirmation once delivery has occurred)

CAN I SELECT WHICH MEALS I WILL RECEIVE ON MY MEAL PLAN?

Your meals will be automatically generated based on any food preferences you have advised during the sign-up process. You have the flexibility to change your food preferences at any time.

If you wish to select which meals you receive each week, we recommend you use the "Choose Your Own" option.

HOW DO I PUT MY MEAL PLAN ON HOLD?

You will need to do this by 8.00am EST Tuesday for the following weeks delivery.

You can do this by logging into your account, click on your name and from the dropdown select "Meal Plan" and you will see an option to "Put My Plan On Hold"

Please be mindful that you will need to follow the same procedure to reactivate your account when you are ready to receive meals again.

CAN I SWAP OUT A MEAL FROM MY MEAL PLAN?

Please advise us by email (info@thomasfarmskitchen.com.au) or by our website chat system by Midday EST Tuesday which meal/s you want to swap out and what you would like them replaced with.

DO I HAVE TO RE-ORDER WEEKLY?

If you are on a Meal Plan, this will happen for you automatically. If you have chosen the "Choose Your Own" option, you will need to place your order each week by Midnight EST on the Tuesday each week.

WHAT IS THE "CHOOSE YOUR OWN" OPTION?

If the Meal Plan option is not to your needs, you can select individual meals from the menu each week by using the "Choose Your Own" option.

You will need to place your order by Midnight EST Tuesday prior to following Monday delivery.

Please be mindful you will need to select and place your order manually every week.

DO YOU PROVIDE A GLUTEN FREE MEAL PLAN?

We do have Gluten Free meals available every week in our menu. Please check the recipes each week and look for the Gluten Free symbol. You can then order these as a "Choose Your Own" option.

DO YOU HAVE A VEGETARIAN MEAL PLAN?

Yes we do. Simply select "I am a Vegetarian" under "Meal Plan" "Dietary Preferences" in your TFK account.

WHAT IS TFK MEMBERSHIP?

TFK Membership is available for 4 weeks - $11 (incl GST) or 52 weeks - $105.60 (incl GST)

Membership entitles you to 10% discount on "Choose Your Own" meals and any items purchased in the TFK Market Store (eg Meat, wine, condiments, cooking products)

Membership discount does not apply to already discounted items.

To become a member, simply select the Membership option at the checkout and it will automatically be added to your order.

WHEN AND HOW DOES PAYMENT COME OUT OF MY ACCOUNT?

Once you have selected your Meal Plan and set your food preferences, you will be asked to enter your contact details as well as billing information. You will be charged at 8am EST then there will be a second charge at 11.30pm EST every Tuesday. This is so if you have any issues with your credit card payment we give you time to sort out so you still receive your food.

You will receive a confirmation email once the account has been charged, and after each ongoing withdrawal. Market Store and Choose Your Own meal purchases are charged at point of purchase.

DO I NEED TO BE HOME TO ACCEPT MY DELIVERY?

Not at all. Life’s busy enough, we don’t want to burden you by having to be home. Tell us exactly where you want your delivery and our couriers will follow the instructions to the letter. No need to sign anything.

HOW LONG WILL MY INGREDIENTS STAY FRESH?

Everything is shipped to arrive fresher than you might see at the supermarket. We guarantee you’ll be able to use the ingredients for days after you receive them. With meats, please ensure you not the Best Before dates. Where possible, produce is sourced within your home state. This reduces food miles and ensures the highest quality ingredients are delivered to your door.

HOW IS MY FOOD DELIVERED AND WHAT DO I DO WITH THE BOX?

The delivery arrives in a Cardboard box with an insulated liner and ice packs designed to keep ingredients fresh for up to 8 hours. Please place the cardboard box and liner in your recyle bin, the ice packs can be frozen and used for your own requirements or placed in your bin after empting the food grade fluid down the drain.

WHAT DO I GET IN MY BOX?

Everything for your meals are included in your box other than pantry items (salt and pepper, olive oil, milk, sugar).

WHAT DO I DO WHEN I RECEIVE MY BOX?

When packing away your meals, we suggest checking the best-before and expiry dates so you can eat meals in order of dates and freshness. Also, if ordering any protein, we suggest freezing if not eaten straight away.

Our mince meat is preservative free (much healthier) and therefore has a shorter shelf life than mince with preservatives. We recommend freezing your mince if you’re not eating it straight away. As with our fish and chicken, it’s best to freeze it if not eating it within the first couple of nights.

Some meals and snacks have a longer shelf life so just adhere to the best before dates and labels.

How do I change my personal details?

You can update your personal details including contact information, delivery address, billing information, meal plan type, meal preferences and subscription details in Account Details. Click on your name on top of the home page to reveal the drop down menu.
